Application Builder<br />

Save Script to Data Table Lets you run the application from a data table script. This option is available<br />

only when the data table is open.<br />

Save Script to Journal<br />

Embeds the application script in an open or new journal. Click the link to run<br />

Save Script to Script Window Lets you edit the script in an open or new script window. Note that if you<br />

modify the application significantly in a script window, you might not be able to edit the application in<br />

Application Builder.<br />

Save Script to Add-In Lets JMP users install the application and launch it from a JMP menu. See “JMP<br />

Add-Ins” on page 523 for details about creating add-ins.<br />

Additional Example<br />

The following example shows how to create an application with parameterized variables. Users select the<br />

variables in a launch window, and then predefined reports are generated.<br />

1. Open the Steam Turbine Historical.jmp sample data table located in JMP’s Samples/Data/Quality<br />

Control folder.<br />

2. Run the Principal Component Analysis and Loading plot table scripts to generate the reports.<br />

3. Select File > New > Application.<br />

The Application Builder window appears.<br />

4. Enlarge the window.<br />

5. In the Sources pane, drag each Multivariate report onto the application workspace in a single row.<br />

6. Click both reports and then select Format > Align Boxes > Align Top.<br />

7. Click each report and type yvar next to Y Variable in the Objects pane.<br />

8. From the Application red triangle menu, select Run Application.<br />

9. Select the Fuel, Steam Flow, and Steam Temp variables and then click the Y button.<br />

10. Click OK.<br />

New Multivariate reports appear in one window (Figure 15.10).
