PT GMT Indonesia Mewet Vein : Jelai Gold Project 9 9.1 DRILLING PROGRAMME Available Data 9.1.1 Drill Hole Logs The drill hole logs were coded and validated to remove inconsistent lithological abbreviations to endure the database was consistent for plotting. The present lithology abbreviations used by JCM are very similar to the old lithology coding used by Ivanhoe, therefore, the correlation was made easily and no major coding discrepancies were noted. The lithology logs were imported into an Access database for archiving and analysis. 9.1.2 Core Photographs All core photographs have been collected from both phases of drilling and the JCM core photography is complete and archived in a digital format. The old Ivanhoe core photography is available as scanned digital photos and original 35mm film-based photographs with negatives. 9.1.3 Drill Hole Data The current database for the Jelai Gold Project contains 115 drill holes in different areas of the vein system. From these holes, 26 drill holes for an advance of 3,901.52 metres (JM001 to JM026) with a further 89 drill holes, prefixed JCM###, completed in the second phase of drilling by JCM for an advance of 8,273.03 metres. The drilling in the Mewet Vein was all oriented to the east, with the original drilling on 50 metre sections. Hole inclinations ranged between 55-70° but were mostly inclined at 60°. Of these, the drill holes considered in the data assessment are outlined in Table 3 and 4. Hole Easting (m) Northing (m) Elev. The early drill holes by Ivanhoe were generally surveyed down hole using a Eastman Single Shot down hole camera. The original discs are still available from this programme and are archived in Jakarta. The second round of drill holes were not surveyed down hole, as most of the drill holes were short (approximately 70 metres for scout holes). However, the deeper drilling on the Mewet Vein, particularly for smaller diameter drilling, it would be expected that the drift of 0065 JCM/GEO/2009.04 Page 27
