Explored & Explained
The belief in a higher power is found in every
culture and seems almost essential to our
existence. Why do we "want" to believe in a
God? Why do we choose one religion over
the other? In this new class you can explore
your choice and learn about the choices of
others. Discover the key beliefs of the world's
major religions and examine the similarities
and differences between them. This class will
broaden your understanding of other people,
their cultures and religions. Join one of
Kellogg Community College's most popular

wedding planner as she shares the secrets
you need to know to create an inspiring and
amazing wedding event. Of course there
are tips and tricks that you can find in any
bridal magazine, however, we’ll share the
insider information that a wedding planner
would never tell you. You can make that
special day even more wonderful when you
know the secrets of a wedding planner! Join
us for this informative workshop and bring
your mom, maid of honor, or best friend

Family Roots: Beginning
Genealogy
If you are a newcomer to this hobby or just
want to document your family tree, this
course will get you off to a good start. More
and more people are beginning to research
their family history, and in this class you
will learn the fundamentals of genealogy
research. Each week will bring new ways to
search, organize and preserve information
about your ancestors and their stories. You’ll
spend the last night of class in the computer

Babies have a lot to say, even before they can
actually speak. Baby Signs are simple gestures
that allow babies and toddlers to communicate
what they see, what they need, and
even how they feel. Research has shown that
using Baby Signs decreases frustration and
tantrums and helps your baby talk sooner.
Learn how you can teach your family a new
way to communicate for increased understanding
and improved relationships. Your
class fee includes a textbook that will help
you take home what you learn in class.
