American Sign Language: Level 1
Do you know any Deaf people? Have you
seen people sign? Would you like to learn
to communicate with them using American
Sign Language (ASL)? ASL is quickly becoming
one of the most widely used languages in
the United States. Come join us to communicate
with your hands, face and body! This
8-week class will introduce you to the basics
of ASL, emergency sign language, and the
world of Deaf Culture. NOTE: This class is
designed for those 16 years of age or older. A
textbook is included in your fee and will be
provided the first night of class.

Baby Signs – Talk to Your Baby
Before Your Baby Can Talk!
Babies have a lot to say, even before they can
actually speak. Baby Signs are simple gestures
that allow babies and toddlers to communicate
what they see, what they need, and
even how they feel. Research has shown that
using Baby Signs decreases frustration and
tantrums and helps your baby talk sooner.
Learn how you can teach your family a new
way to communicate for increased understanding
and improved relationships. Your
class fee includes a textbook that will help
you take home what you learn in class.

Spanish – Level 1
Are you planning a trip or cruise to destinations
in Mexico, Latin America or Spain?
In this class you will expand your language
skills and grasp the basics of Spanish through
conversation and listening. We’ll show you
ways to integrate Spanish into your daily
routine so that what you learn stays with
you until your trip. We’ll cover the basics
of the Spanish language, common phrases
and aspects of the Spanish and Hispanic
cultures will also be discussed. You will have
plenty of time to practice your new language
skills with your classmates. Your instructor
is a native speaker of Spanish. Your class fee
includes your textbook.

Beginning Conversational French -
ONLINE
Discover how easy it can be to learn common
words and phrases for both leisure and business.
This course makes pronunciation
simple, with phonetic spellings for every
word and phrase you need to learn. The
course even includes audio, so you’ll be able
to hear and practice the language with little
more than a click of your mouse! You’ll also
learn cultural tips in each lesson that will
make you more comfortable in a foreign
