A Sane Insanity Circuit Training<br />

Workout<br />

This is an intense workout for the serious<br />

exerciser based upon the current style of<br />

P90X and the Insanity series. However, we've<br />

put the sanity back in with regard to safety<br />

and intensity level. Great music will find<br />

you doing the Heisman, the Jack Squats, the<br />

Suicides and many other breath-taking and<br />

muscle building moves. You'll see the quick<br />

change in your strength and endurance and<br />

feel like a star athlete. And talk about the<br />

calorie burning! This workout will get you<br />

started down the path of having a lean and<br />

strong body. You don't need any equipment<br />

but be sure to bring your water bottle and a<br />

towel, there's definitely a sweat alert associated<br />

with this workout!<br />

Pilates: Level 1 - Beginning<br />

Designed for the novice participant, this<br />

course focuses on the basic principles and<br />

movements of Pilates. During this mat work<br />

class, movement quality and breathing are<br />

emphasized. Exercises are modified to suit<br />

your needs and abilities, regardless of age<br />

or gender. The benefits are core stability<br />

and body balance; increased flexibility and<br />

mobility; stronger abdominals and better<br />

posture; relief of pain and tension; stronger,<br />

longer, leaner muscles. Please wear loose<br />

fitting clothing. Bring a yoga mat and towel.<br />

Pilates: Level 2 – Intermediate<br />

You must have comfortably mastered the<br />

fundamentals of Pilates and be ready to move<br />

at a faster, more challenging pace for this<br />

class. The emphasis in this series will be on<br />

balance, coordination, flexibility, technique,<br />

tone, alignment, and the mind-body connection.<br />

Pilates will strengthen and lengthen your<br />

muscles and we’ll focus on the “Powerhouse”<br />

or core of the body. Please wear loose fitting<br />

clothing. Bring a yoga mat and towel.<br />

of a lifetime! Hatha Yoga is a gentle<br />

approach to health, integrating body/mind/<br />

tension. You will experience pre-yoga warmups,<br />

yoga postures, meditation, and breathing<br />

exercises. Learn to elicit the relaxation<br />

response and incorporate yoga into your<br />

daily life. Benefits include better energy, flexibility,<br />

strength, balance, stress release and<br />

immune system response. Wear loose fitting<br />

clothing to class and bring a blanket and<br />

pillow. Instructor Becky Porter has practiced<br />

yoga for many years and she’s ready to help<br />
