Advanced PC Troubleshooting
In this next level of PC troubleshooting you’ll
learn how to edit your registry, partition your
hard drive for backups, and do a real backup
of your machine. We’ll also cover what to
do when your computer will not boot, and
recovering data off of a machine that will
not boot. We’ll discuss editing your PC's
services and how to copy your current hard
drive to a different drive, and how to install
new memory. You’ll learn how to do this
whether your system runs on XP, Vista, or
the new Windows 7. You’ll walk away with
a CD full of free tools and Internet resources
to troubleshoot your machine and keep it in
perfect health.

heads in pictures? Designed for beginning
digital photographers, this class is filled with
tips and tricks to help you take better photographs.
You’ll learn the basic technology that
all cameras use, and you’ll receive helpful
information on exposure and lighting. You'll
also explore strategies for taking excellent
photos in all types of situations, including
portraiture, landscape, macro and still-life.

Create a Digital Photo Story
How would you like to create a slide
presentation for a graduation, wedding or
other special occasion? Learn how to use
Microsoft Photo Story for Windows and
you will be able to create such a presentation.
Find out how to import your favorite
photos, add a title to your pictures or add
your favorite music. Once they are created,
you will be able to share your stories by
sending them in an email to your family and
friends or display them at your next special
event! Please bring a few photos on a CD,
your favorite song on a CD and a flash drive
to save your work.

Create Astonishing Presentations
with Prezi
Think PowerPoint, but with a twist...and you
have Prezi! Prezi is a web-based “zooming
storytelling and presentation tool” that
allows you to present your slides in a nonlinear
fashion. Prezi’s interface is very intuitive;
you place all of your slide elements on
a single, open canvas, and then specify the
“path” between elements. Your Prezi presentation
will then glide along the path, allowing
you to zoom in and out on a given area of the
presentation. Slide elements can include text,
audio, video and images. If you’re ready to
impress your bosses or interviewers at your
next presentation then you won’t want to
miss this class!
