The graceful appearance of the eyelid effectively shields against glare, while the small aperture and soft diffusion lens allow excellent forward projection with soft illumination side to side. The LED package used in the Meridian is the very latest technology, delivering breakthrough performance and a halogenlike color temperature never before available. Precise machining coupled with careful engineering addresses thermal management requirements and ensures highperformance and reliability. The Meridian has an integral LED driver that allows it to operate on standard 12 volt systems with no additional hardware needed. Installation is simplified by the inclusion of a separate solid copper housing that can be pre-installed and fitted with the luminaire cartridge later. wM16 MaRinER The Mariner sconce is used mainly for down lighting and wall grazing. The up light version is equally effective on columns and pilasters, and requires the use of a 60° angled shroud (60) or no shroud (nS) for proper drainage. Full shroud (90 or hW90) is used for down lighting applications only. A unique screw less mounting plate (J/B) secures the luminaire to a standard 3” or 4” diameter junction box (by others). Mounting options include a 4” diameter surface mount (4/0), and a 1.6” diameter trellis mount (T/M) or brass splicebox (S/B). high-density EPDM gasket and mounting hardware are included. Specify extension Ex3 to offset luminaire head from the mounting surface by an additional 3” (this option is ADA compliant if lowest point of luminaire is min. 80” A.F.F.). Available lamps are 10, 20, 35 and 50 watts with beam spreads in 12° narrow-spot, 24° medium-spot, 36° flood and 60° wideflood. A combination of up to three accessories can be inserted to reduce glare, enhance light output or shift color to create contrast. Optional retainer (required for “hW” shroud) counts as one accessory.
