Step #4 “Installation of Drivers” Installation of drivers can be carried out in two ways: − with the help of drivers setup wizard (Step #4.1) – it is urgently recommended to use this method; − in manual mode (Step #4.2) – installation of drivers in manual mode is realized after Step #6 “Connecting the Modem to PC/notebook”. Step #4.1 “Installation of Drivers with the Help of Setup Wizard” To start drivers setup wizard it is important to: − press button of the main setup wizard “Install Modem Driver”. − in the window of language choice choose necessary language of setup interface; − correct realization of this step continues in start of drivers setup wizard for operational system installed on PC. For example, for OS Windows XP XP Driver Installer must run (Picture 8); Picture 8 112
− press ”Setup”, then the process of installing of drivers into the system will be shown (Picture 9). Picture 9 ENG − when correct installation of drivers is over it is necessary to confirm ending of installation by pressing ”Ready” (Picture 10). Attention! For correct operation of modem it is urgently recommended before running next step to reset PC/notebook by choosing menu “Yes, reset PC now”, having all opened applications shut beforehand, or to reset PC independently, by choosing menu “No, I will reset PC later”. 113
