SUZUKI CSR REPORT 2011
01 Improving Corporate Value
Our Shareholders and Investors
Suzuki has made the best efforts to improve the corporate
value to live up to shareholders’ expectations.
Unfortunately, however, our business environments
severely changed due to the worldwide financial crisis
since the Lehman Shock, further influences of appreciation
of yen, the Great East Japan Earthquake, etc. and we are in
much more difficult situation.
In order to come out of such a crisis, we need to unite our
efforts under the slogans "Rack our brains and sweat to
overcome the difficulty of the situation" and "Start refresh
all over to overcome the time of great transformation."
In concrete terms, we have newly established the
"Management Planning Committee" where we collect
critical management issues and discuss pending problems,
and reviewed the system and organization to identify
management concerns and make decisions more quickly.
We will also continue to build the system that produces
profits even though sales decrease by implementing
the "In-house Cost Cutting Activities" that every single
employee tries to reduce various expenses.
