8 th Grade Opinions about Attending a Catholic School
Emma Clark:
Going to a Catholic school is a lot better than a public school, I think. One of the awesome aspects is less kids in a class
and more one-on-one time with the teachers. I’m also a lot closer to the kids in my class and in the younger grades because
of the small class sizes. I’m glad I’ve gone to a private school for my first 8 years of schooling. I have had a better
education because my teachers and school work challenge me. I love Catholic schools!
Clara Livermore:
Going to a small Catholic middle school is great because you get more attention when you have trouble with your work.
You also grow close not only with the other students, but also with the teachers.
Being at Holy Rosary School since I was in Preschool has really taught me a lot about my faith and who I am. Being in a
private school with small classes and wonderful teachers, who are able to spend more one-on-one time with me, has taught
me many good lessons and increased my faith and beliefs. Being at Holy Rosary really prepares you for your future in
education and for life in general. I really love Holy Rosary and never wish to leave, but I know that I will have to soon.
Anna Schumacher:
Attending a Catholic middle school has been quite an experience. We have learned things that no public school could
teach: humility, hard work, self-control, and to love our neighbors. I am very glad to go to Holy Rosary!
Akyra Hagen:
My opinion on Catholic schools is that they are great! I love that my parents sent me to Holy Rosary! Because of our
small class sizes, I am able to have more one-on-one time with the teachers. I also love all the fun field trips we get to take
at the middle school here. I will truly miss going to Holy Rosary and will take with me all the life lessons that I have
learned.
Sam Nelmark:
What I like about going to Holy Rosary is the free days we earn from fundraising and the field trips we take in the middle
school. I think it’s really cool that the teachers take out that much time for things like that. I also like the one-to-one time
we get with the teachers and how they all know our names and care about us.
Natalie Steffl:
I think Holy Rosary is a good Catholic school to go to. I enjoy seeing my friends, teachers, and other students each day
that I go to school. I’m glad that I have Religion as a subject, Mass every Wednesday, have Morning Prayer every day,
and have the opportunity to learn about God and Jesus. I’m glad and proud to be a student at Holy Rosary!
