Using the Keys<br />

Navi Key<br />

The phone is waiting <strong>for</strong> you to enter<br />

a response.<br />

Ringing tones have been set to<br />

Silent.<br />

The alarm clock is set.<br />

All calls diverted.<br />

The use of the phone is largely based on the<br />

<strong>Nokia</strong> Navi TM Key, , below the display. The<br />

function of this <strong>Nokia</strong> Navi TM Key, , varies<br />

according to the guiding text shown above the<br />

key on the display.<br />

Throughout this user’s guide, together with the<br />

<strong>Nokia</strong> Navi TM Key the relevant guiding text is also<br />

mentioned, e.g. (Menu) or (Select).<br />

Scroll Keys<br />

Scroll keys are used to<br />

browse through menus,<br />

submenus and settings and<br />

to move the cursor to the<br />

right or left.<br />

Tips:<br />

With clear display, press once to access<br />

the names & phone numbers stored<br />

in Phone Book.<br />

With clear display, press once to access<br />

the list of last dialled numbers.<br />

During a call, press the keys to adjust the<br />

earpiece volume.<br />

The C Key<br />

• Use to delete a<br />

character to the left of<br />

the cursor,<br />

• to clear all the characters<br />

keyed in from the<br />

display (press and hold),<br />

• to return from a submenu to the previous<br />

menu level in the menu facility,<br />

• to exit the menu facility,<br />

• to reject an incoming call.<br />
