Visitor Household Income<br />

Overall, visitors’ household income did not vary widely across Season (Table 14, Figure<br />

12) or the six sites (Table 15, Figure 13). Seventy percent <strong>of</strong> <strong>Park</strong> visitors intercepted in<br />

the fall (558 <strong>of</strong> 796) and 68% <strong>of</strong> visitors in the spring survey (648 <strong>of</strong> 951) reported annual<br />

household incomes in excess <strong>of</strong> $50,000. However, <strong>Park</strong> visitors intercepted at<br />

Mountain Palm Springs reported a slightly lower median household income than visitors<br />

interviewed at other sites in the <strong>Park</strong>. There, 58.7 percent <strong>of</strong> visitors reported incomes in<br />

excess <strong>of</strong> $50,000, compared to 69 percent park wide, and 74.9 percent at Blair Valley.<br />
