rewards the Good, and punifhes the Evil, and<br />

fo it refpefls Man as fubje£t to the Law of<br />

This Juftice is temper'd with nnildnefsand longfufFering,<br />

which are thofe Perfedions in God that<br />

reltrain his Anger againft Sinners , without great<br />

and repeated provocations.<br />

The Omnipotence of God is that Perfeftion<br />

whereby he can do all things that do not imply<br />

a contradiftion, and is fuch a Power as nothing<br />

can refitt. The Glory of God is the Excellency<br />

of the Divine Nature, whereby he infinitely exceeds<br />

all the Creatures. The Happinefs of God<br />

his Aftions do not proceed from one Attri-<br />

is the refuk of all the Divine Perfeftions, in<br />

which he cannot but take great complacency, and<br />

fo they make him infinitely more happy by the<br />

contemplation of them.<br />

From what has been faid, we may mfer, That<br />

Cnce God is a moft fimple Being, and his Attributes<br />

are not really diftinguifh'd from one another,<br />

bute alone, but from an harmonious concuirenee<br />

©f all his Attributes together.<br />
