the Health of their Emperor. The King<br />

having received this Anfwer from his Prielts,<br />

fent lor the Ambaffadors of the Emperor of Jafan^<br />

and told them, Go andfalute your Emperor<br />

in my Name^ and tell him^ that he ha^ leave from<br />

my God^ andfrom me^ to fendfome of his SubjeUs<br />

to offer Sacrifices to our God-^ and If our Godfhall<br />

reftore hii Healthy 1 hope he will perform what he<br />

hoi promifed of efiablifhing theWorfhip ofour God<br />

in alibis Dominions.<br />

The Ambaffadors having taken their leave of<br />

our King returned home into their own Country,<br />

and acquainted the Emperor of jf^apan with the<br />

Anfwer of the King of E?^/^^^ to his Letter •, who<br />

was very glad at the good fuccefs of their Ne*<br />

gotiation, having farther defigns in it than they<br />

were aware of: And therefore he prelently commanded<br />

a great Army to be made ready, and order'd<br />

by two Elephants, which will hold Thirty or<br />
