Pirelli has defined an extremely detailed program to verify the environmental conditions of
the various sites acquired, as well as a summary of the action required to bring them up to
the Pirelli standard.
Finally, in 1998, there was greater and more systematic participation in various
associations, institutions and working groups on a national and international level to
enable Pirelli to make its own contribution to the cultural evolution and development of
standards now in progress, and to act in a proactive way.
