• Develop data collection tools on cervical cancer control.<br />

• High-level advocacy for political support and good will; resources.<br />

• Lobby for provision of supplies and equipment at all levels.<br />

• Improve the quality of data collection.<br />

LONG TERM<br />

• Develop an HPV vaccine introduction plan.<br />

• Operational research on acceptability and misconceptions about cervical cancer.<br />

• Improve the quality of palliative care at the community level.<br />

Technical support • Training and development of training materials.<br />

• Building capacity for cervical cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and palliative<br />

care.<br />

• Developing a communication plan on cervical cancer prevention and control<br />

(strategic plan).<br />
