Red River Gorge Climbing<br />

Known for towering sandstone cliffs, Kentucky’s<br />

Red River Gorge is a premier climbing destination.<br />

The vast number of bolted routes in overhanging,<br />

pocketed sandstone draws climbers from all over the<br />

world to “the Red” as it is known. “Get after it” at the<br />

Red. Schoolwork feels like a breeze after ascending<br />

these routes!<br />

Maumee Day Trip<br />

The Maumee River has the largest watershed of any<br />

Great Lakes river giving it the nick-name “Mighty<br />

might of this treasure of northwest Ohio.<br />

Canoeing and Rapelling<br />

A day of canoeing and a day of rapelling give the<br />

for the weekend and experience the adventure of a<br />

120-foot rappel.<br />

Tippecanoe Overnight<br />

Spend a weekend away from campus and paddling<br />

your cares away down the scenic Tippecanoe River<br />

alongside this serene river.<br />

White Water Rafting PEG Course<br />

Go white water rafting and get COLLEGE CREDIT!!!<br />

White water rafting is one of the most popular water<br />

sports, and the Gauley River is one of the top 10<br />

rafting rivers in the country with some of the most<br />

memorable rapids. This trip offers an intermediate<br />

level of rafting, but instruction is part of the course.<br />

If you strive for aquatic fun and excitement, join us<br />

for an adrenaline rush you’ll never forget! Sign up<br />

for the PEG White Water Rafting Class this fall.<br />

Manistee Backpacking/Canoeing<br />

Providing a Fall Break to remember, the Outdoor<br />

Program invites you to join us on a multi-sport<br />

adventure in the Manistee <strong>State</strong> Forest of Northern<br />

Michigan. Spend two days hiking through the forest<br />

and two days paddling down the river of this pristine<br />

wilderness area. Enjoy the sights of wild animals<br />

and peaceful river sounds while taking a break from<br />

your semester studies.<br />

Leave No Trace Trainer<br />

This weekend training course gives the opportunity<br />

to learn about all seven principles of the Leave No<br />

Veteran’s Day Caving<br />

Explore the world underground. See sights<br />

Kayaking Workshop<br />

This workshop includes five classes taught by<br />

an American Canoe Association instructor and<br />

all equipment. These classes teach the basics<br />

associated with flatwater kayaking, including basic<br />

equipment, strokes and the Eskimo roll.<br />

Moonlit Night Hike<br />

Get in the mood for Halloween with a starlit night<br />

hike! Hike through the woods and prairies enjoying<br />

outdoor night recreation and lead fun night<br />

activities.<br />

Veteran’s Day Backpacking<br />

What better way to de-stress than to spend time<br />

outdoors in Indiana’s Charles Deam Wilderness.<br />

Hiking is one of the most popular and rewarding<br />

activities to do within the park. With 39 miles of<br />

trails, Charles Deam Wilderness boasts miles of<br />

scenic gorges and sandstone bluffs and is rich with<br />

natural and historic features. Catch the beautiful<br />

views, eat delicious food and sleep under the stars.<br />
