Your first point of contact is your Residential Student Advisor
(RSA).
The RSAs are the first point of contact for student residents
outside normal Rural Health Academic Centre Office Hours
(9.00am to 5.00pm Monday – Friday).
RSAs are senior students appointed to assist with the dayto-day
operation of residences. They provide out-of-hours
assistance to residents (e.g. lost keys, broken equipment)
and are informal mentors who provide advice and assistance
on living harmoniously in residences, and how to locate
information and services.
RSAs may log matters arising out-of-hours for later referral
to the Student Administration Office, or immediately to the
appropriate service or facility contractor, if an emergency or
urgent issue arises.
