SAT OUTREACH RIDE:
WATERCARNIVAL. Depart from
Hutchinson Middle School, 1365
South Grade Road SW, Hutchinson.
It’s an easy one hour drive west of the
Twin Cities on Hwy 7, one hour south
of St. Cloud on Hwy 15, or 45 minutes
north of New Ulm on Hwy 15. The
Watercarnival Bike Ride offers two
very scenic, enjoyable rides. The TCBC
Outreach ride is the 65 mile loop. Bike
from town to a rest stop in Piepenberg
County Park, on Belle Lake. Then turn
north and travel thru much of the
scenic lake country and pass thru the
towns of Dassel and Litchfield, before
returning back to Hutchinson. This
route also includes biking along the
Crow River on the Luce Line trail, and
includes two additional rest stops.

ROCK. Depart from the park on the
river in Maiden Rock. Cross into
Wisconsin at Prescott or Red Wing
and take WI 35 south to the town of
Maiden Rock on Lake Pepin, then
turn towards the river on Chestnut
St. Little-traveled rural roads with a
few challenging hills. Watch for
details on TCBC "Rides and Trips"
message board during the week
before ride. If weather threatens,
check "Ride Cancel Delay" message
board at 7:00 AM or contact ride
leader before 7:45 AM on morning of
ride. A canceled Saturday ride will be
rescheduled (via the message board)
for the next day whenever feasible.

BEMIDJI. Depart from Guthrie
Township Hall Parking Lot (44255 Rail
Road). Take Hwy 371 north from
Walker to Hwy 16, west to Guthrie,
turn right onto Cty Rd 100 and go ¼
mile to Township Hall on left. Ride
goes from Guthrie to Bemidji to La
Porte with rest/lunch stop at the
Wild Hare in Bemidji. Options for
evening are dinner at Brauhaus
German Restaurant located between

and Musical Comedy Review at
