mile loop - Scott Community College<br />
- Bettendorf, Iowa, 115 mile loop -<br />
Two Good Park - Preston, Iowa. This is<br />
the 34th annual "Tour of the<br />
Mississippi River Valley" sponsored by<br />
the Quad <strong>Cities</strong> <strong>Bicycling</strong> <strong>Club</strong>. It is a<br />
two day loop with the longer route<br />
starting in Bettendorf and the shorter<br />
route from Preston with an overnight<br />
in Dubuque. This is a challenging ride<br />
but quite doable if you pace yourself.<br />
The scenery is historic and<br />
breathtaking and it is an extremely<br />
well run ride. Their website is full of<br />
information and you can register online.<br />

route starting in Preston should<br />

rides. Low traffic throughout. The<br />
route goes through open and wooded<br />
areas. Enjoyable countryside<br />
landscapes with streams, rivers,<br />
ponds and lakes. First to rolling hills to<br />
Elk River. We will go through the<br />
Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge.<br />
North to the small town of Santiago.<br />
East to Princeton and stop for lunch.<br />
