TRAILS BY 4 LAKES. Depart from
Centennial Church, 1524 West County
Road C2, Roseville, corner of C2 and
Snelling. The ride will feature 4 named
trails and 4 lakes. Trails: Reservoir
Woods, Trout Brook, Gateway and
Bruce Vento. Lakes: McCarrons,
Phalen, Gervais and Bennett. The one
big hill goes down. We will stop for
refreshment at the Taste of
Scandinavia in Little Canada. An
optional loop from the starting point
goes down the Minneapolis Diagonal
Trail to complete the 33 mile ride. Don

Take I-94 to Menomonie, then 25

the river to the park. Little-traveled
rural roads with a few challenging
hills. Watch for details on TCBC
"Rides and Trips" message board
during the week before ride. If
weather threatens, check "Ride
Cancel Delay" message board at 7:00
AM or contact ride leader before
7:45 AM on morning of ride. A
canceled Saturday ride will be

SAT TATER TOUR RED
ROUTE. Depart from Elm Creek Park
Chalet, 12400 James Deane Parkway,
Maple Grove, 55369. Starting from
the Elm Creek Park Chalet, we'll head
east on the North Hennepin Corridor
bike trail to the Coon Rapids Dam,
cross over and head south on bike
trails following the Mississippi River to
Webber Parkway where we'll hook up
with bike trails along Victory
Memorial Parkway west and south to
Theodore Wirth Park. Then we'll
follow the Luce Line trail west to
Medicine Lake Park, north to French
Regional Park and, eventually, Fish
Lake Park. From there, we'll follow
bike trails which lead us eventually
back to our starting point. Ride is
mainly on bike trails and passes
through five parks, by three lakes, and
the Mississippi River. There are many
opportunities for water and rest

MEANDER HUDSON WI. Depart
from north end of Walmart parking
lot (in front of Wendy's). I-94 East to
Wisconsin Exit 2, turn south on
Carmicheal, turn west on Crestview,
Walmart 1/4 mile on south side of
road. Look for my Black Honda
Element. Once again we will be taking
the northeastern roads of St. Croix
County to Bass Lake Cheese Factory in
Somerset. This is a new route which
will have gently rolling hills. This
beautiful ride will encompass
countryside, lakeside (Bass Lake) and

ROCHESTER. Depart from north end
of Walmart parking lot on 55st, just
west off US-52 in Rochester. Riders
have the choice of a 200k, 300k/400k
or 600k route. The 200k ride is a
pleasant tour through Stewartville,
Chatfield, Wykoff and back. The 300k
continues on to Rushford and
Harmony, the 400k continues to
Decorah, Iowa, and the 600k goes on
to Elkader, Iowa before returning to
Rochester. There is a sleepover stop
for the 600k and a bag drop. Riders
must be TCBC Members. This is a
RUSA/ACP Certified ride. Go to www.

SUN MI. SUPERIOR
VISTAS AFTERSHOCK. Depart from
Thompson's West End Park in
Washburn, WI. That's .3 mi. south of
Hwy. 13 on 8th Ave. W. Go to the
gravel lot by the lake. The spine of this
ride will be a 33 mile trip to Bayfield
with many fine views of Lake Superior
and the Apostle Islands. We'll climb
high above town through the apple
orchards there and then descend for a
visit to Main Street. Optional spurs
will include a ferry ride ($18) to
Madeline Island and a 14 mile toot out
to Big Bay Park or a 22 mile jaunt to
Little Sand Bay, a part of the Apostle
Islands National Lakeshore. Jeff

MI. HERB'S BENCH DEDICATION
RIDE. Depart from Brackett Park, 2728
39th Avenue South, Minneapolis. Park
at intersection of East 28th Street and
39th Avenue South. Just south of
Greenway at 39th Avenue. This is a
very special ride to dedicate a bench in
honor of Herb Schultz. All three levels
B, B/C and C rides will start in Brackett
Park at 10:00 AM and then stop at the
bench for the dedication at 12:30 and
return to Brackett Park for a picnic at
1:00 PM. Your RSVP is needed for the
picnic by June 21. E-mail

leave your name(s). The cost will be
$5.00 per person payable at the picnic.
While rides may be cancelled in the
event of lots of rain, the picnic will go
on in any case, with the dedication and
food in the Brackett Park Shelter at

OF RICE CREEK. Depart from Erik's
Bike Shop, 2059 Snelling Ave. N.
across from Har Mar Mall in
Roseville. The route crosses Rice
Creek 8 times (count 'em). We will
ride up Lexington to Rice Creek
Regional Trail Park in Shoreview.
After passing through the park we
will follow the trail through the old
Army Ammunition Plant. After a
break at McDonalds in Mounds View
for the leader's senior coffee we will
ride the Rice Creek Regional West
Trail and finally make our way back
past Long Lake, Valentine Lake and
