The art of storytelling is one of the most
interesting part of any literature. Keeping
this in mind, Spin a Yarn activity was
conducted for class IV on 11 October
2012 in order to enhance their writing
skills and vocabulary. It was an attempt to
peep into the minds and imagination of
these tiny tots. Students participated with
a lot of ardour and took keen interest in it.
The students were divided into groups of
7-8 students. They were given
introductory lines of the stories and were
asked to form and continue the story. The
stories formed by the students were quite
bewitching. The teachers along with
other students seemed to be completely
intrigued by the works of the little fellows.
The best group from each section was
selected and rewarded for their
phenomenal work.
