view, strolling in the garden or lolling
around the pool with a good
book, from the moment you check
in it feels like there are 48 hours
in a day.
ANYTHING ELSE? Good food –
in six restaurants. For light beach
snacks and grilled fish there’s
La Veranda and Platja Mar or
more advanced fish and shellfish
dishes at the garden restaurant
El Pi, which holds barbecue nights
every Wednesday and Friday.
El Colomer has a tuxedoed pianist,
white tablecloths and à la carte
buffet, with everything from a
shellfish platter and various paellas
to the local specialty, caramelized
sobrassada (sausage).
IF YOU ONLY DO ONE THING
Play tennis on one of the five
beautifully framed and tended
artificial grass courts near the hotel
entrance. If you’re on your own, or
your roommates aren’t up for it,
you can book private lessons.
