Abstract This paper discusses the performance optimization of a complete <strong>Siebel</strong> enterprise solution on the Sun platform. The article covers tuning for the Solaris TM Operating System, <strong>Siebel</strong> software, Oracle database server, Sun StorEdge TM products, and Sun Java TM System Web Server. We also discuss unique features of the Solaris OS that reduce risk while helping to improve the performance and stability of <strong>Siebel</strong> applications.
