The rise in notifications in <strong>2009</strong> is mainly due to a higher reporting of<br />
undeclared milk ingredient. Most of those notifications report the presence<br />
of milk ingredient in products on the basis of dark chocolate, the majority of<br />
which were reported by Austria, which has obviously carried out a sampling<br />
programme on this.<br />
