John married Sarah Berryman, daughter of Capt. Willam Berryman and Eleanor Hold.<br />

Sarah was born in 1637 in Accomack County, Virginia and died before 1711 in Surry County,<br />

Virginia.<br />

Noted events in her life were:<br />

• Information: 1637, Accomack County, Virginia. Sarah was the daughter of William<br />

Berryman who died 1648 Northampton County Virginia, and she was the aunt of<br />

Robert Berryman, Clerk of Isle of Wight County Virginia in 1729, and the sister of John<br />

Berryman who died 1711 in Surry County Virginia. Her father was a wealthy merchant,<br />

and ship owner.<br />

in 1740 in Bertie County, North Carolina at age 78.<br />

Lewis married Elizabeth Hunter (d. 1732).<br />

31 M iii. Joseph <strong>Bryan</strong> Sr. was born in 1664 in Lower Norfolk County, Virginia and<br />
