Pennsylvania and died in Nov 1825 in Shelby County, Kentucky at age 71.<br />

expenses, and time doing a complete historical record of these families, the record is<br />
now complete, and accurate based on the hard records that do exist.<br />
Josiah Boone II married first, Hannah Hite on December 17, 1781 Frederick County<br />
Virginia, and had the following children by her:<br />
1. George W. Boone - went to Indiana<br />
2. Leah Boone - died in Daviess County Kentucky<br />
3. Hannah Boone - died in Daviess County Kentucky<br />
4. Ruth Boone - died in Oldham County Kentucky<br />
Josiah settled their portion of his estate on them when they came of legal age or<br />
married, and were not involved in his final estate settlement after he died in November<br />
1825 in Shelby County Kentucky. The husbands of the three daughters took charge of<br />
Telethia and Charity Boone after Eleanor and Josiah died….<br />
Josiah Boone II married second, Persis Hinton by common law marriage in Frederick<br />
County Virginia in 1789. The Reverend John Sutton married Josiah and Persis August<br />
15, 1799, but there was no marriage license issued by the State of Kentucky that we<br />
could locate. By Persis Josiah had the following children: Josiah settled their portion of<br />
their estate when of age or marriage, and the four follow were not involved in their<br />
father's estate in 1826.<br />
