Stewardship
Clinical Resource Management A
Room: 211
This presentation will focus on Antimicrobial Stewardship programs in
in adverse patient events and outcomes; how to promote cost-effective
utilization of antimicrobial drugs and resources to increase regulatory
2.8 When Generations Collide
Professional Development I
Room: 207
There are approximately 80 million Baby Boomers, 40 million
Generation Xer’s, and 75 million Generation Yer’s. These are
staggering numbers. The dissimilarity of the personality traits of each of
these groups is remarkable, and the relationships between each other
undoubtedly have an affect on the workplace. As the Baby Boomers
begin to reach retirement age, the Generation Xer’s move upward,
and the Generation Yer’s enter the workforce. Understanding and
learning to work with these dynamics will and are becoming a trait of
successful management. This session will assist the attendees in
understanding the differences and provide tools to utilize in the day-today
operations to bridge this gap.
