The University’s year-long 50th Anniversary celebrations reminded us that<br />
<strong>UC</strong> San Diego is one of the most notable success stories in the world.<br />
And its graduates, our alumni community of nearly 140,000 worldwide,<br />
are the main expression of that success. They are <strong>UC</strong> San Diego, the reason<br />
it exists. And as we look ahead to the next 50 years, there’s no doubt<br />
that this University, its students and alumni, will continue to embrace the<br />
spirit of innovation, discovery and bold entrepreneurial drive.<br />
This <strong>Annual</strong> <strong>Report</strong> of the past fiscal year, July 1, <strong>2010</strong> – June 30,<br />
<strong>2011</strong>, shows that <strong><strong>UC</strong>SD</strong> <strong>Alumni</strong> (your alumni association) is poised to<br />
