Configure a Step<br />

Assign the Preset Time for a Step<br />

1. Click the button of the step.<br />

2. On the General tab, type the time for the step, in milliseconds.<br />

When the step is active for the preset time (Timer = Preset), the<br />

DN bit of the step turns on.<br />

To calculate the preset time for a step at runtime, see “Use an<br />

Expression to Calculate a Time” on page 5-9.<br />

Configure Alarms for a Step<br />

To turn on an alarm if a step executes too long or not long enough:<br />

1. Click the button of the step.<br />

2. Check the AlarmEnable check box.<br />

Type the time for the high alarm <strong>and</strong> low alarm, in<br />

milliseconds.<br />
