In today's world, business is
becoming increasingly global in
nature. In such a fast changing
business climate it is critical that
professionals have the education and
skills to adapt and succeed.
The primary aim of the BBA program is to enable students
to advance their careers in the world of business by
providing a general overview of business management
topics suitable to a wide range of career paths.
The program aims to help students become proficient
in conducting business in English and familiar with the
cultural aspects of working in an international
environment. This is a valuable asset for those
interested in career opportunities with either multinational
corporations or domestic companies with
extensive international business activities. The
program offers a high degree of flexibility for those
who might wish to start their careers or for those, who
have already started their careers and who have either
realized the need to continue their formal education or
who did not have the opportunity earlier.
Our approach places a great deal of emphasis on
European and global aspects of commerce, which we
believe is particularly critical in today's business
environment. With our multi-national faculty and
student body, UNYP is in a particularly strong position
to provide this valuable international perspective. The
knowledge that our students acquire in the program
should provide them with a wide range of options as
to where they pursue their careers, in terms of
business and professional areas as well as
geographical locality. The program also serves as a
strong grounding for those who wish to pursue
careers in the public sector, civil society or academia.
Structure of the Program
The BBA program is designed to be completed in 3
years of full-time studies and leads to the awarding of
an accredited Czech bachelor's degree from UNYP.
The week day study program is intended for those
student who have a bit more flexibility in their time
schedules. In consultation with an academic advisor
each student can follow the standard schedule or may
develop an independent study program that more
closely matches their needs.
