complex items, DNV approved design and fabrication of reels, as well
as spoolers, tensioners, level-winds and overboard chutes.
SPEX Offshore brings together industry leading experience in the
delivery of specialist offshore services in the North Sea and abroad,
including pipe recovery, decommissioning and wellhead abandonment.
STATS Group is a specialist engineering and service provider with
a comprehensive range of products and services supporting the
global oil and gas industry. We provide fully engineered projectspecific
solutions and consultancy services, helping our clients
deal with critical pipeline integrity risks. STATS enable pipeline
infrastructure modifications, system upgrades, maintenance and
repair projects.
STATS have developed a diverse range of pipeline isolation and repair
products covering subsea oil, gas and marine pipelines. Our subsea
portfolio is built around our commitment to continued R&D and product
development.
STATS partner major operators in the development and support
of Emergency Pipeline Repair Systems (EPRS) to minimise the
downtime of damaged subsea pipelines. An incident from an anchor
drag or dropped object can be catastrophic to the environment and
transportation of hydrocarbons.
The primary reason for an EPRS is to ensure rapid response,
minimising environmental and commercial impact by ensuring
resumption of full production as soon as possible. STATS EPRS
and subsea services provide fully engineered emergency pipeline
repair equipment, designed, manufactured and maintained in a state
of readiness in accordance with client specifications. Our EPRS
equipment comprises remote piggable pipeline isolation Tecno Plugs,
Pipeline Retrieval Tools and dual seal Structural Repair Clamps.
