Aberdeenshire is home to two major components of the subsea
industry. The global centre of subsea engineering excellence
is situated in Westhill. With additional development land now
available, Westhill has excellent local amenities and services and is
close to Cairngorm National Park.

equipment for Remote Visual Inspection in confined and hazardous
environments including: AC-CELL 100 crawler system, 5000m rated
miniature LEDs and Cameras and the AC-ROV 3000 fly-out system.
Peterhead is North East Scotland’s premier deepwater subsea
port. With all year round congestion free access, Smith Quay can
accommodate vessels up to 180m long in 10m water depth with
an adjacent 16,000 sq m laydown/fabrication area. The quayside
incorporates a 500 tonne capacity heavy lift pad with the capability of
skidding items up to 2,500 tonnes which makes it ideal for handling
project cargo.
