The Underwater Centre is the ideal location to conduct subsea<br />
trials and testing, allowing you to get the best from your trial in<br />
the quickest, most cost effective way. With tidal water depths<br />
in excess of 150m, a 1.5M litre seawater tank, plus industry<br />
experienced personnel, the Centre provides a convenient solution<br />
to subsea testing at a fraction of the cost of going offshore. As well<br />
as providing a regular testing location for prestigious companies<br />
such as Rolls Royce and Nautronix, recent visitors have also<br />
included industry leaders such as Diamould, Intermoor and WFS.<br />
Titanium Engineers specialises in the development and<br />
manufacture of components in Ti- 6al- 4V as well as Ti 6-2-4-6 and<br />
Ti Beta-C (3Al-8V-6Cr-4Mo-4Zr), both of which conform to NACE<br />
MR0175 and ISO 15156 for severe service applications.<br />
Technical support is available from our metallurgical and engineering<br />
staff in the application of the unique characteristics of titanium.<br />
The Underwater Centre also provides specialist training for commercial<br />
divers, ROV pilot technicians and associated support staff at their<br />
purpose built and extensive facilities in Fort William. These include a<br />
large pier which incorporates multiple dive and ROV stations, welding<br />
bays, engineering workshops and hyperbaric chambers; alongside<br />
three barges and various support vessels. The Centre also offers<br />
bespoke training programmes for corporate clients, in an industry<br />
relevant environment.<br />
