ETPS Ltd specialise in adjustable power instruments.
A comprehensive range of programmable power supplies and
electronic loads are available from ETPS Ltd. DC power supplies start
at 100W with modular systems capable of up to 3MW. The latest
addition to their range of DC Power Supplies is the LAB-SMS product
family. This provides an industry leading power density of 10kW in just
a 2U high case. A range of models with outputs up to 1200Vdc are
available. A dedicated high voltage range has a number of product
families with outputs ranging from 1kV to 70kV.
Adjustable AC Sources start at 250VA and are available with single
or 3 phase outputs. Electronic AC loads with adjustable power factor
can sink between DC and 400Hz. DC Loads with traditional heat
dissipative techniques are available along with more modern designs
that regenerate the sink energy back to the AC grid.
Ruggedised versions of many product families are available. DC power
supplies and Inverters have been particularly popular for shipborne and
vehicle mount applications.
First Subsea is a specialist in the development and supply of
subsea mooring, riser connector and tubular handling systems.
Its patented Ballgrab ® ball and taper connection technology is
used for deepwater moorings, ROVless / diverless bend stiffener
connectors for production risers and umbilicals, buoy pull-in tools,
pipeline recovery and repair tools and hose connectors. More
recently the company has entered the drilling equipment market
with the development of industry leading, ball and taper, SureGrip
pipe casing handling and floor slip tools.
First Subsea’s Ballgrab subsea mooring connector (SMC) uses ball and
taper technology to provide a two-part, male mandrel and female tube
receptacle, connection with a multi-point grip in direct proportion to the
load applied. Ballgrab SMCs comply with the ABS (American Bureau of
Shipping) Mooring Guide 2009.
Used in over 350 subsea mooring installations worldwide, Ballgrab
allows fast connection subsea, typically 9 minutes per mooring line.
The connector technology is now being applied to the development
of Quick Connect and Disconnect mooring connectors for Arctic
moorings.
First Subsea has its head office and engineering offices and R&D
