The gear performance-such as transmission error, contact pattern under load and no load, normal loa.d distribution on tooth flank, contact stre ,tooth fillet stress, flash temperature and vibrational excitation for actual production gears-can now be analyzed. Some simulated results are compared with actual results <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> field and from experience.
