AROUND TARANAKI<br />
Halls in Oka<strong>to</strong>, Hawera, Opunake, Inglewood,<br />
Patea, Waitara, Kakaramea, Pihama, Urenui,<br />
Toko and Norfolk will be brushed with colour<br />
and intrigue during <strong>the</strong> arts <strong>festival</strong> as five<br />
very different shows <strong>to</strong>ur <strong>the</strong> region.<br />
WOMAD 2013 crowd pleasers AHoriBuzz return <strong>to</strong><br />
<strong>Taranaki</strong> <strong>to</strong> bring <strong>the</strong>ir unique blend of psychedelic<br />
funk and rock <strong>to</strong> Waitara. Inglewood Hall will revisit<br />
its glory days with big band music by Jazz supremo<br />
Rodger Fox and companions. Rugby fans and<br />
<strong>the</strong>atre lovers alike will enjoy an enchanting peek<br />
in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> heart, mind and life of an extraordinary<br />
man and sporting colossus – George Nepia. And<br />
a play (Party with <strong>the</strong> Aunties) that is more like<br />
going <strong>to</strong> a party than <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>atre will have you<br />
laughing raucously and giggling for days! And<br />
some girls from down on <strong>the</strong> farm will delight<br />
you with <strong>the</strong>ir music and <strong>the</strong>ir hilarious romp<br />
around <strong>the</strong> kennels telling a dog’s tale (tail) of life<br />
on a farm (The Bitches Box and Mel Parsons).<br />
