Seven-Inch Snow Fails to Dent High
Grosses in Denver; 'Ben-Hur 350
DENVER—The city experienced another
week of exceptionally strong first-run
grosses, even a seven-inch spring snow failing
to dent the boxoffice results. "Ben-
Hur," "Can-Can" and "Please Don't Eat
the Daisies" continued well in their extended
runs. Newcomers "Tall Story,"
"Seven Thieves" and "The Glenn Miller
Story" all managed to better average figures
by a considerable margin.
