PARENTS’ AND FRIENDS
PARENT INFORMATION
SESSIONS
TUESDAY NIGHTS IN AUGUST/
SEPTEMBER, 2008.
Families at the P & F film night
The College Parents and Friends have had a busy term. ‚Surf’s
Up‛ was screened early in Term 2 on the Primary Oval. The
atmosphere was warm and welcoming, there was a wonderful
selection of curries available for dinner, and we managed to
raise over $2500.
It was great to look out to the sea of faces enjoying the night
and it was wonderful to see so many families enjoying a relaxed
evening together and with friends.
During Term 3 the Parents and Friends will host a series of
family information evenings. The topics are Resilience
(August 5), Additive Alert (Aug 26) and Cyber Bullying (Sept
9). The talks will aim to provide useful practical information
for parents and will be an opportunity for parents to come together.
We invite all families of the Broome community to
take the opportunity to come along and hear these varied and
interesting speakers. Further details will be available early in
Term 3.
As always, the Parents and Friends are keen to hear new ideas
and would welcome your input. We would love to hear from
you if you have anything from the odd hour free, where you
maybe able to help, or are keen to join in the discussions at our
monthly meetings. It would be great to hear from you.
