Dear students,
We welcome you to NHTV Breda, University applied sciences and especially to the
Academy of Urban Development, Logistics and Mobility. We are glad to have you here and
we hope that you’ll enjoy our informal and open atmosphere. On behalf of the entire staff
Logistics and Economics Management, we can assure you that we will do everything to
make your study period both agreeable and academically-sound.
This handbook will provide you with information about the content of the study programme.
Our lecturers, tutors, study coaches and our coordinator will pass on even more
information and you can ask them any questions you might have.
You have chosen an interesting international study programme. You will get to know
different and surprising aspects of the international professional field of Traffic and
Transport Management. Mobility plays a vital role in our society and in the world. Transport
systems need to be improved and new transportation possibilities will have to be invented
in Holland and in the rest of the world. Flow of goods are global. Products come from all
over the world. Managing these international flows will be a challenge for you as a future
manager.
We wish you an enjoyable time at the Academy and off course in Breda. We look forward
to the day we are allowed to award you your diploma!
Leo Kemps, director of the Academy of Urban Development, Logistics and Mobility and the
staff of the International Logistics and Transport Management and International Logistics
and Economics Management programme.
