Study career coach
Students learn about their skills and interests and their strong and
weak points. Focus during the coaching talks is on their participation
in a group with group members from different cultures.
Final objectives: At the end of the second year, students are aware of
their possibilities and constraints, in terms of their studies, their own
personality, and their (future) working environment. After two years of
coaching students are expected to make a well-considered choice for a
work placement.
Student coaching is a method to teach students how to get the most
out of their studies. With so many possibilities in school and even
more in the outside world it is important for students to identify their
ambitions, their goals and their capacities.
For second-year students an important part of study career coaching is
preparation for the work placement in the third year. Two group
meetings, with subject work placement preparation, will be organized.
