The course shows the influences between traffic and transport.
Furthermore the economical theory can be used for describing the
transport policy. The course will go more deeply into the interplay of
forces between the parameters need of relocation, transport and traffic.
The modes of transport and its (im)possibilities;
Policy guidelines in the relation transport and traffic;
Necessity of modal shift relation to congestion;
Transport and surroundings; environmental aspects in relation to
transport and alternatives;
Guides modes of transport in relation to traffic – its safety, security,
planning and steering systems and how we can optimize them.
Comparison between guided and non-guided transport from a logistic
perspective.
