Rate Amount (Bill - 07 ) MECHANICAL WORKS 7 Preamble: All Mechanical work items mentioned hereinafter for all project facilities and units shall include supply, delivery, installation, adjustment, testing commissioning, and all required materials, equipment and workmanship to execute the items of construction in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and supervising engineers instructions, complete in place and ready for handing over. Any shortage of items, quantities, materials, equipments, drawings and specifications should be notified to the owner by the contractor before submitting his officer, otherwise mechanical works will be executed completely inspite of any shortage. Measurements and payments shall be described in the relevant documents. Prices must include working drawings for all mechanical works that should be submitted by the contractor and to be approved by the supervisor engineer before starting works. Also price includes as built drawings for all works. 7.01 Wash Basins & Lavatories: Supply and install white vitreous china such as Roca( vectoria) or No 4 equivalent wall mounted wash basin size 52*40 mm complete with Hamat (or Equivalent) Chrome plated long neck wall tape, supports, Æ 2” waste outlet, down to floor drain, chrome plated P- trap, mirror size 600x400 mm with stainless steel frame and accessories such as liquid soap dispenser. 7.02 Water Closets: Supply and install white vitreous china Roca (vectoria) or equivalent water closets complete with 9-lt. capacity cistern, valves, fittings, solid and heavy seat cover, toilet roll paper holder chrome plated 13mm stop angle valve, chrome plated 13mm hose and accessories, 13mm chrome plated hose of 1m length with hand spray, and to be connected with water cabinet. All is according to drawings, specifications and approval of supervisor engineer No 5 7.03 Floor Drains: Supply and install floor drain including 15×15 cm stainless steel cover and main drain connections as located on drawings. a) Floor drain size 4”/4” diameter. No 3 7.04 Cleanouts: Supply and install UPVC floor clean-outs with stainless steel screwed specially for C.O. cover of 20×20 cm. a) Size 4”. No 2 Consultant: Diyar Consultants Co. Rate Amount 7.05 Drainage Pipes: Supply and install UPVC vent and drainage pipes to floor drains or down to manholes with all required fittings including excavation, back filling, incasing with concrete and roof vent caps, including connections as shown in drawings and in accordance to specifications. a) Size 1 1/2 inch diameter (For condensation). MR 34 b) Size 4 inch diameter. MR 16 c) size 6’’ inch diameter MR 14 7.06 Water Distribution Pipes: - Supply and install cross-linked polyethylene pipes (cross-linking factor >75%) with a working temperature 95c° at 10 bar and 20c° bar (PN 20). These pipes should be specialized for domestic water supply with approvals for hot and cold water installations like NSF (USA) KIWA (Netherlands) WRC (Britain). DVGW (Germany). These pipes should also have approvals for hygienic toxicological approvals. These pipes should be totally smooth from the inside. Rate to include testing and commissioning and all necessary parts, sleeves, materials or fitting to join the pipes form distribution cabinets to all consumption points as shown in drawing: a) 16 mm diameter pipes, 25 mm sleeve. MR 55 7.07 Water Distribution Cabinet: - Supply and install metal distribution cabinet with double doors (thermal painting) of 1.5mm type ELEMCO thickness with all necessary GIACOMINI manifolds, compression fittings plastic connection boxes, main valves, branch valves and any other necessary parts, materials or fittings, rate to include any civil works needed to complete the required installation 7.08 Cold Water Supply Pipes: Supply and install galvanized steel pipe schedule 40 or equivalent for domestic cold water from water, roof tanks to water distribution cabinet, including all required insulation by vedoflex of 6mm thickness rolled by plastic bonds, and sleeves, gate valves, check valves, strainers, rubber, automatic air vents, drain cocks with all required fittings and connections.
