UNOPS offers pre-employment screening to help our
partners ensure their personnel comply with the highest
standards of professional conduct and have a history
clear of any criminal or fraud-related records.
Our pre-employment screening service is designed to
evaluate candidates applying for key decision-making
positions. Screening for security clearance requires
rigorous checks of the individual’s history at both
national and international levels. This applies to staff as
well as contractors, if their role requires representation
of the organization or its partners.
Pre-employment screening is undertaken after the
successful candidates have been identified, but prior to
issuing the final contract. The screening is conducted by
a specialized business partner who investigates criminal
records, past professional integrity, law suits and any
other intelligence services relevant to the employer’s
needs.
