321 Interval Start Competitions<br />
321.1 Definition<br />
At interval start competition, each competitor starts at his/her designated<br />
starting time and final result is determined by difference between finish<br />
time and start time.<br />

321.3 Entries - Substitution<br />
321.3.1 Substitution is possible according to <strong>ICR</strong> art. 313.4.<br />
321.3.2 The substitute athlete’s start position will be determined by the Jury.<br />
321.4 Starting Order and Start Procedure<br />
321.4.1 Interval start procedure must be used (see <strong>ICR</strong> art. 315.2)<br />
321.5 Timing and results<br />
321.5.1 If two or more competitors have the same time, they shall have the same<br />
ranking in the result list, and the competitor with the lower starting number<br />
will be listed first (article 219.2).<br />
