382.2 Information for Competitors<br />
382.2.1 Before the start of the competition, competitors should receive information<br />
regarding the following<br />
- starting time<br />
- course description and profile<br />
- technique(s)<br />
- transportation information<br />
- identification sticker and control card, if any<br />
- ski marking<br />
- starting procedures<br />
- warm-up area and procedures<br />
- feeding station locations and refreshments available<br />
- procedure to follow if a skier does not complete the competition<br />
- finish line procedure<br />
- information regarding emergency medical procedures<br />
- cut-off times, if any<br />
- clothing drop off and pickup sites<br />
- changing area, shower location, and food sites<br />
- results service with grouping and announcements<br />
- protest procedures<br />
- prizes and awards<br />
- procedures for short notice competition cancellation<br />
- time and location of Team Captains' and Jury meetings, press conferences<br />
and other meetings<br />
- communication services<br />
- other necessary information<br />
383 Jury<br />
383.1 The Jury<br />
383.1.1 In addition to being a forum for dispute resolution, the Jury should act as<br />
an adviser for the competition Organiser in dealing with various aspects of<br />
the competition. In PCCC the safety of the competitor should be given priority.<br />
The Jury should consist of<br />
- the TD who is the chairman of the Jury<br />
- the National Assistant TD, appointed by the NSA<br />
- the chief of competition<br />
The TD may invite additional persons to attend Jury meetings where appropriate.<br />
These persons are advisory in capacity and do not carry a vote.<br />
