381.4 Grouping<br />
381.4.1 Competitors may be grouped in accordance with results from previous<br />
years' competitions or other competitions. They may also be grouped by<br />
gender and age or by date of submission of competition entry.<br />
381.5 Results<br />
381.5.1 Separate result list must be published for men and ladies.<br />
381.6 Competitors<br />
381.6.1 PCCC are organised for the enjoyment of all participating competitors. Because<br />
these competitions involve competitors with a wide range of experience<br />
and ability, good sportsmanship and courtesy toward other competitors<br />
are essential. Competitors who demonstrate unsportsmanlike behavior<br />
or do not follow these rules or the rules of the competitions may be disqualified<br />
by the Jury. During a PCCC competitors must<br />
- follow the marked course from the start to finish passing all control<br />
points<br />
- complete the course on skis using only their own means of propulsion<br />
and without assistance from others<br />
- neither hinder nor interfere with other competitors<br />
- make a reasonable effort to allow faster competitors to pass. Normally<br />
slower competitors should use the right track or side of the course,<br />
faster competitors the left.<br />
381.7 For Popular Cross-Country races on the FIS World Cup or Marathon Cup<br />
calendar, all competitors placed in an elite group must comply with <strong>ICR</strong> article<br />
207 “Advertising and Commercial Marking“ and with article 222<br />

382 Information<br />
382.1 Announcement<br />
382.1.1 The announcement should contain the following information<br />
- name of the competition<br />
- competition site and the alternative site, if any<br />
- course distance (s) and technique (s)<br />
- competition date and starting time<br />
- seeding procedures<br />
- entry deadline<br />
- registration fee<br />
- lodging and transportation information<br />
- prizes and awards<br />
- refund policy if the competition is cancelled<br />
- insurance regulations<br />
- any other useful or necessary information<br />
