9. CONCLUSION<br />
This <strong>report</strong> is in <strong>co</strong>mpliance of Section 71 of the MFMA, by providing a statement to the Executive<br />
Mayor <strong>co</strong>ntaining certain financial particulars.<br />
RECOMMENDED<br />
That, in <strong>co</strong>mpliance with Section 71 of the MFMA:<br />
1. The Ac<strong>co</strong>unting Officer submits to the Executive Mayor this preliminary statement reflecting<br />
the implementation of the budget and the financial state of affairs of the municipality for the<br />
year ending 31 July 2013 and<br />
2. In order to <strong>co</strong>mply with Section 71(4) of the MFMA, the Ac<strong>co</strong>unting Officer ensure that this<br />
statement be submitted to National Treasury and the Provincial Treasury, in both a signed<br />
document format and in electronic format.<br />
