Currently this Committee co-ordinates development of the Concept and further on, Programme
of chemical and biological safety for Saint-Petersburg. This activity is executed
in compliance with the Federal Target Programme on chemical and biological safety. It
sets legal obligations upon each subject of the Russian Federation (regional level) to
develop such target programme by each subject of the RF.
Berezin is the focal person in co-coordinating the working group that jointly reviews results
of the contracted work (currently Concept, further on the Programme).
