We know that Betty is actually Alice Elizabeth “Betty” Hackler, born 18 December 1922 in La<br />

Junta, Bent Co, Colorado.<br />

Census data for 1940 <strong>and</strong> later will not be released until 2012 for 1940 data, 2022 for 1950 data,<br />

etc by law.<br />

Ira Hacklers wife Anna Sible Dunham Hackler died in 1939. On 27 April 1942, at <strong>the</strong> age <strong>of</strong> 56,<br />

widower Ira Zedock Hackler registered for <strong>the</strong> WWII draft. Here is <strong>the</strong> data from his registration:<br />

Because <strong>of</strong> his age, it is assumed he did not serve.<br />

On 4 November 1944, Ira Z. Hackler took out a $100 marriage bond <strong>and</strong> license to marry Lucy<br />

Edith Wise in Conway, Faulkner Co, AR. He was 58 years old, she was 32 (born 3 January 1912,<br />

died December 1969).<br />

On 11 June 1940, Ira Hackler’s daughter Alice Elizabeth “Betty” Hackler married Roscoe<br />

<strong>Stewart</strong>. One child <strong>of</strong> that marriage was Alice <strong>Stewart</strong>, mo<strong>the</strong>r <strong>of</strong> Stacy <strong>Atkins</strong> Pinter.<br />
